Anna Silk was the first daughter of Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a writer, actor, director, producer and professor in St. Thomas University). Her father is from Britain, while her mother is a "Turkish ex-pat from Cyprus who is now living in England." Anna's earliest memories involve attending rehearsals for plays and observing her mother at her job. Anna appeared in numerous commercials in her youth. Anna was transferred to Toronto to Los Angeles in 1999. Seth Cooperman, whom she met at an Los Angeles actors' workshop back in 2007, became her husband in the year 2009. Anna began her journey to becoming a Jewish woman in 2011 after converting to Judaism. The couple was wed in a civil ceremony in December this year. They then reaffirmed their vows during the Jewish wedding ceremony that took place in Fredericton the month of April in 2011. Bo's same-sex romance with Lauren was highlighted in the top TV Couples in the history of television and was named top TV Couple in 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Anna's internet popularity increased due to the success of the show.
